Terms of Use

Last updated: April 17, 2026

Welcome to MedMemo (“App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use MedMemo.

1.Description of Service

MedMemo is a personal medication tracker and health diary. It lets you organise medications into plans, receive reminders for doses and log health observations such as vitals, symptoms, pain and mood. The app is provided for personal, informational and organisational use only.

2.Not Medical Advice

MedMemo does not provide medical, health, pharmaceutical or any other form of professional advice. The app, its reminders, its diary summaries and anything it displays are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Always follow the guidance of your doctor or pharmacist when it comes to medications, dosages, schedules and the interpretation of vitals or symptoms. Never change, start or stop a medication based on what you see in MedMemo. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

3.Reminders Are Not a Safety System

Medication reminders in MedMemo rely on your device, its operating system and your chosen notification settings. Notifications can be delayed, suppressed or missed for reasons outside our control — including silent mode, Do Not Disturb, poor connectivity, low battery or operating-system changes.

You should not rely on MedMemo as the sole mechanism for taking critical or time-sensitive medications.

4.Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. We do not verify the medications, dosages, schedules or health data you log. While we strive to display your data correctly, we make no guarantees regarding:

  • The accuracy or completeness of information you have entered
  • The timeliness of reminders or synchronisation between devices
  • The interpretation or medical relevance of any aggregated data

You are responsible for verifying what you enter and confirming it with your healthcare provider.

5.User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use MedMemo only for lawful, personal purposes
  • Not share your account with anyone else
  • Keep the email address and authentication method on your account secure
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, resell or redistribute the app
  • Not use MedMemo in a way that could harm, disable or impair the service

6.Accounts and Authentication

MedMemo accounts are created through Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account used to sign in. If you lose access to that account, you may lose access to your MedMemo data.

7.Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of MedMemo require a paid subscription ("Premium"). By subscribing:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
  • Any unused portion of a trial period is forfeited when you start a subscription
  • Pricing and plan structure may change; material changes will be communicated before they take effect

8.Data Storage

Your medications, plans and health diary entries are stored in your account on Google Firebase and synced across your devices. You are responsible for maintaining access to the account you used to sign in. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

9.Intellectual Property

The MedMemo app, its original content, design, features and functionality are owned by MedMemo and are protected by international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Your health and medication data belongs to you.

10.Termination

You may stop using MedMemo at any time by deleting the app and requesting account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that could harm other users or the service.

11.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MedMemo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenues, goodwill or other intangible losses arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, missed or incorrectly scheduled medication doses, misinterpretation of logged data, or any health outcome related to your use of the app.

12.Disclaimer of Warranties

MedMemo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

13.Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through the app. Your continued use of MedMemo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
